Chris Horbelt

Chris Horbelt is the Vice President of the Data Engineering Practice at Squadron Data Inc. His team focuses on delivery of automated data ingestion functions from multiple sources via Apache Airflow. Customers data needs include Product, Retail, Machine, web/mobile etc. Chris also serves as the lead for Services Delivery Management for Government Services via the Squadron Data Inc. partnership with Cloudera. In this role he is responsible for delivering results in the form of completed goals and objectives to government focused clients. Chris’ other professional experience includes 19 years of work with Cerner Corporation. Over a span of nearly two decades, he held various management and individual contributor roles within Consulting Services, Product Development, Client and Associate Learning Services, Support, and most recently Government Services specializing in Cyber Security Evaluations. Chris is a Kansas native who currently resides in Overland Park with his wife Ana, and three children Olivia, Katherine, and John Douglas.
